Why this shrine?

I am truly obssessed with Jecht. He's actually the first male character from any game/series/show that I've ever wanted to make a shrine to. And I've spent a lot of time of this place, believe me. I've bought artbooks, guidebooks and doujinshi in languages I don't speak for Jecht-images, a 4-CD set for 3 Jecht-related songs and I've played the game through to the point where I can watch the Jecht Spheres many times, even walking back from Macalania to Besaid in order to watch them all.

From the first moment I saw Jecht, I liked him. Something about the way he acted, his brash demeanor and rugged appearence just interested me. As the game progressed and Jecht's real story was slowly revealed, his character simply became one of my favorites. His story was so affecting; a man who loves his son so deeply, lost to him forever as he's thrown into a strange world. Eventually he sacrifices himself for the world, becoming the fayth for Braska's aeon. I loved how his character changes and grows. But it was the moment I saw him cry on one of the Jecht Spheres which cinched it for me. I found it so endearing, this big, tough guy crying over his son! It's actually hard to explain but that's much of the reason why I like Jecht and decided to make this shrine to him. The other is that Final Fantasy X quickly became my favorite Final Fantasy game to date and I wanted to do something about it. Who better than Sin?
